Maxillofacial Prosthodontics - San Antonio, TX | New Braunfels, TX

Specialized in Oral-Facial Rehabilitation

Our Primary Objective: Restoring Your Health

Neuromuscular disorders, congenital head and neck conditions, and traumatic accidents can lead to defects that limit your daily life and your ability to connect and communicate with others. Our team of experienced clinicians includes skilled periodontists as well as our board-certified prosthodontist, Dr. Villa Guillory. Already a specialist in prosthodontics, Dr. Guillory completed a sub-specialty in Maxillofacial Prosthetics through a Fellowship at Wilford Hall Medical Center in order to offer truly life-changing treatment for our patients.

Working closely with our in-office periodontists as well as ENTs, oral surgeons, craniofacial plastic surgeons, radiation oncologists, and other clinicians, Dr. Guillory creates tailored treatment plans for each patient’s unique needs. We create mandibular resection prostheses to treat defects of the lower jaw, tongue, and floor of the mouth. Maxillary obturators are fabricated for shortcomings of the soft and hard palate, allowing you to eat and speak without difficulties. If you’ve lost an ear, nose, or eye, we can re-create it to blend with surrounding facial structures and restore your confidence! We’ll combine custom-made prosthetics, bone grafting treatments, dental implants, dentures, and a number of other services to offer complete oral and facial rehabilitations. Whether your concerns are functional or cosmetic, find out how maxillofacial prosthodontics in San Antonio and New Braunfels, TX can offer you the freedom to eat, speak, and re-connect with the world around you!

An authority in prosthodontics and smile reconstructions, Dr. Guillory implemented her talents while Director of Maxillofacial Prosthetics and Program Director for the US Air Force Maxillofacial Prosthetics Fellowship Training. She then became a Flight Commander of the Kadena Area and Base Dental Laboratories in Okinawa, Japan. Here she was the regional prosthodontic specialty consultant and directly responsible for offering comprehensive dental laboratory services to the Air Force’s largest overseas combat wing and 54 Pacific Command (PACOM) dental treatment facilities. Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, and Fellow of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, Dr. Guillory is a trusted expert in not only full mouth dental implant protocols like All-on-4® but complete rehabilitations using maxillofacial prostheses.

Taking an innovative approach to every case, Dr. Guillory can make use of long-lasting dental implants where adhesives were once the standard. She collaborates extensively with other leaders in her field as well as the ancillary fields necessary to achieve optimal oral health, overall health, and complete function for our patients.
