"All-on-4 gave me the perfect teeth I wanted" - Jennifer

Transition into a New Smile in One Day

The All-On-4® Treatment Concept means you can come into our office with no healthy teeth remaining and leave with a mouthful of teeth that are permanently in place. We can provide you with dentures that are attached directly to your jawbone, no adhesives, no covering the roof of your mouth, no shifting or wiggling.

The All On 4 Treatment Concept means strong, permanent dentures that allow you to resume chewing the foods you love and to be able to show off your beautiful smile. Our team at Excellent Dental Specialists can show you the difference in comfort, beauty, and function that full arch dental implants can give.

Dr. Weber explains the All-On-4 procedure and why is it better than dentures.

What Is The All-On-4® Treatment Concept?

The All-On-4® Treatment Concept uses the placement of four dental implants in your upper and/or lower arch to secure your denture device permanently in place. Because the implants are longer and placed at an angle, available bone density is often not a concern for placement. Patients love full arch dental implants for many reasons, including:

A Minimally Invasive Solution
We say minimally because there is no bone grafting preparatory work that needs to be done before placement.

Short Time-to-Teeth
Dental implants can take significant time to completion, but with the All-On-4® Treatment Concept, we can provide you instant teeth after creating a full treatment plan. Once the dental implants are in place, we’ll check their primary stability. In most cases, if the stability of your implants is sufficient, we’ll be able to immediately attach a set of new teeth. While this won’t be your final prosthesis, it will be strong and durable, allowing you to bite and chew foods like normal.

Each surgery and patient present a unique case, so we won’t be able to determine if you’re a candidate for immediate load implants until your day of surgery. However, we’ll do everything in our power to ensure you leave our office with a new set of teeth on the day of surgery! By following the TeethXpress® treatment protocol from BioHorizons, we can provide this immediate solution to virtually all our full mouth dental implants patients.

Quality of Life Increasae
Both missing teeth and dentures require a significant life adjustment. Patients have to make changes in what they can eat, and how they speak. By replacing your missing teeth with full arch dental implants, you can resume the use of your teeth as you did before the trouble began. Chew the foods you want without your teeth becoming loose or wiggling around in your mouth.

Most dentures cover the roof of your mouth limiting your ability to taste, with this system this is never a worry.

Lower Cost
Cost is subjective, and there are cheaper options, but, to get the same permanent solution of implant retained teeth, there is no cost comparison.

Placement of All-On-4® Treatment Concept

The placement of your full mouth dental implants begins with an examination by one of our dentists. Together, you will decide on a treatment plan that is best for you. This implant retained denture system takes your denture, either one that you already have, or one that we can create for you, and surgically attaches it to your jaw with four titanium posts placed directly into your jawbone.

We use titanium because it is biocompatible. Titanium is used for repairs by surgeons all over the human skeleton, including knees and hips, because your body will not reject it and will actually grow around and on it, incorporating the titanium into your bone, bonding it to the bone for a strong and firm hold.

Healing

Though the patient can use their newly retained dentures immediately, they will need to take caution for about three months after placement. We will advise the patient to eat soft foods and to avoid anything crunchy or hard while the bond, known as osseointegration, is occurring. Once the implants are firmly in place, you can resume eating the foods you love without fear of your teeth coming loose or shifting.
