Composite bonding is an easy and cost-effective way to repair decayed, damaged, or discolored teeth. Other common problems treated with composite bonding include:

The bonding process involves the use of composite resin, a putty-like material that resembles the color of tooth enamel. To begin, we choose the appropriate shade of composite resin and prepare the tooth. After the tooth has been properly prepared, Dr. Andrew Weber will place and sculpt the composite resin, until we achieve the desired shape. Next, we will use a curing light to harden and bond the material to the tooth. As a finishing touch, we polish the composite resin to match the sheen of your natural enamel.
Porcelain veneers are thin-shells that fit over the front surface of the teeth. Much like composite bonding, veneers are used to correct minor and major cosmetic issues. However, veneers may be a better choice for patients in need of a stronger, more esthetically-pleasing option. To place a veneer, we have to remove a very small amount of enamel for the front of the tooth. Next, we will take an impression of the tooth and send it to the dental laboratory.
