Ways You Can Treat a Toothache at Home

You can put an ice pack in the side of your jaw near the hurt tooth every 10-15 minutes to reduce swelling and pain, just make sure you put a wash cloth between your skin and the ice pack.
If you have seen a doctor for this ache and they proscribed you any antibiotics please take them all don’t skip any doses, and don’t stop taking them because you feel better. You will need to finish them all because the infection could still be there, but with just no pain.
You need to avoid very hot or cold substances and even sweets just until you get the tooth looked at, because it could cause you more pain.
You can rinse your mouth out with warm salt water to reduce pain, redness, swelling, and infection.
If you smoke or chew tobacco please try to quit until you have it looked it, because the chemicals in the tobacco will cause more problems and increase your risk for more infection and decrease your healing process.
