Yogurt is also a wonderful food that can help your bones. It has so many benefits for your gum, and one of the biggest ones is that is has probiotic content. That will help fight off cavity causing bacteria. Eating food that has probiotic properties will help you fight off tooth decay and gum disease.
Another great food is anything that has whole grain. Whole grain has lower sugar than other foods and this can help you fight off gum disease.
Eating pears is another good way to get healthy gums, they actually neutralize acid. This is important cause acid will eat away at the protective enamel which lead to cavities.
Carrots is another great food that can help you get better looking gums. Carrots can help the production of your saliva, and that will help clean all the nasty bacteria from your teeth. Carrots are also high in fiber and vitamin A, which is really good for your body.
Eating raisins are good for your gums because they have antioxidants and phytochemicals, which helps decrease the number of bacteria that grows in your mouth.
Eating apples will actually cause you some gum discomfort if you eat them incorrectly. However, they have plenty of vitamins and nutrients in them that help your gums and teeth, but try cutting up your apple into bite sized pieces so it will not cause you any discomfort.
